We are open for
in person worship
Our Worship Times:
Sundays at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM
Wednesdays at 7:00 PM
We care about the health, safety, and comfort of everyone who enters our building.
We will be following recommendations given by the Erie County Department of Health,
the New York Department of Health,
and the Center for Disease Control.
If we need to make any changes, we will communicate them to you promptly.
If you are feeling sick we ask that you stay home and worship with us at a later time.
Coming to church after being exposed to Covid-19:
-
CDC defines exposure as being within 6 feet of someone for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period with someone who has COVID-19.
-
Asymptomatic individuals who have been fully vaccinated do not need to quarantine if they have been exposed. The New York State Department of Health says that you should get tested for COVID-19 between the 3rd and 5th day after exposure, and you must wear a mask in public indoor settings for 14 days or until receiving a negative test result.
-
Individuals who have been exposed to someone with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 and are not fully vaccinated are required to quarantine (that means to stay at home) for 10 days after exposure. Testing is not required to end quarantine if no symptoms have been reported during the quarantine period. However, a test should be sought immediately if any symptoms develop within 10 days of exposure.
Returning to church after testing positive for Covid-19:
-
If you have tested positive you are required to stay home and isolate for 10 days, even if asymptomatic.
-
The CDC says it is safe to be around others and you may return to church:
-
10 days after symptoms first appeared or after a positive test for those who are asymptomatic and
-
You have been fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medications and
-
Other symptoms of COVID-19 are improving (loss of taste and smell may persist for weeks or months after recovery and need not delay you ending of isolation.)
-
If you have any questions about this policy, please just ask me, I would be glad to speak with you.
